Basketball

Davitt College has had a long and distinguished association with the sport of Basketball. They won a senior girls All-Ireland title a number of years ago. The school is currently represented at all levels both boys and girls. The present girls 1st yr team won the Tom Tighe Memorial Cup in Lacken. The senior & U-16 girls won 1 out of their 3 league games but failed to progress to the next stage of the competition this year. The 1st year boys and girls have will shortly get their league campains underway.
