Davitt College Transition Year student, Úna Parkinson, has been identified by the State Examinations Commission as a very high achiever in Mathematics and Science in the Junior Certificate 2013. Una will participate in The National Olympiads in Dublin City University in October 2013 where six students will be selected to represent Ireland in the International Junior Science Olympiad in India and a further six students will be selected to represent Ireland in the European Union Science Olympiad in Athens.
