Davitt College Fashion a Huge Success

Full marks to the Transition Year students at Davitt College on a hugely successful fashion show at the Breaffy House Hotel and Resort on Friday night, November 12th. The students with some help from staff showcased a wonderful array of the most fashionable of this seasons clothes, all provided by local retailers.
The students are especially grateful to Name It, New Look, Elvery’s, Annette Gerald’s, Beverly Hills, Wear It Out and Sanzio for their generous support for the project.

Ms. Veronica Morley who co-ordinated the project with the students was thrilled with the night.
“The quality of the merchandise on display was sensational and the atmosphere on the night was electric, as the additional dancing, musical and entertainment provided by the youngsters was brilliant”, she said. Ms. Morley was particularly pleased with the performance of the Child Models, all sons and daughters of Davitt College staff. The Transition Year students and staff in Davitt College would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped to make the night a success, the suppliers, the sponsors and all who purchased tickets.
A generous contribution will be made to the Children’s Ward in Mayo General Hospital from the proceeds of the show.
