All first year students are provided with a school email in the form

• Free Software

To eliminate the necessity for parents to purchase expensive software, Davitt College provides all first year students with free online word processor, presentation and spreadsheet software. The software is accessed via an internet connection and web browser. Using these applications students can create project work, reports, essays etc. and store them online. It allows students to share their work with teachers at any time for comments, advice and correction when completed. Storage allocation is 2 Gbyte per student. This facility continues to be available to students over the three years they study for their Junior Certificate.

Learning Management system

A recently launched Learning Management System will be available to all first year students from September 2011. Teacher created, subject specific resources will now be available to students online for revision and further study at home.
