MS Readathon raises €1358.40

Congratulations and appreciation to those who participated in the MS Readathon this year. Most first year English classes participated collecting a grand total of €1358.41. An amazing amount of books were read with many students reading 25 books or more over a period of just a month!

The funds will go to Multiple Sclerosis Ireland, and will be put to great use in caring for people suffering from MS. The MS Readathon is a fantastic activity for students. While raising much-needed funds, students also participate in reading many books, thereby improving their literacy skills and discovering new books.
Many thanks again to all those who contributed especially english teachers, Ms O’Hara, Ms Abel, Ms Morley and Ms Whyte, who helped organise the event.
