Davitt College pupils sing to make a difference

Davitt College would like to congratulate students Ethan Carey and Cathal Noonan, who were Connaught/ Ulster-West finalists of “Our Schools Got Talent” in the T.F. Royal Theatre on Sunday 27th January 2013. Both musicians did their school proud and performed magnificently on the night. This year the I.S.P.C.C. and Childline were the chosen charity for this year’s “Our Schools Got Talent” competition. Ethan and Cathal, along with other contestants from Davitt College, who had featured earlier in the competition, gave a series of concerts in the school. This fundraiser raised over €500 for the I.S.P.C.C. and Childline. Well done to Ethan and Cathal and all pupils of Davitt College who took part in this worthwhile event. Pictured presenting a cheque for the money raised is Ms. Bernie Rowland, Principal of Davitt College; Ethan Carey; Cathal Hoban; Ms. Fiona Jennings, Regional Volunteer Organiser from the I.S.P.C.C. and Mr. Ger King, Vice Principal of Davitt College.
